Brennan's First Year

Aidan would ask how old Brennan was, and when you told him how many months, he'd say, "No, he's zero" while holding up his hand with no fingers showing.

Aidan now happily announces to anyone who will listen that Brennan is one!

For all my kids, I've tried to take a picture of them on their monthly birthdays (and then yearly) next to their teddy bear. We got the idea from my grandmother who would take a picture of my mom as a baby next to the same pillow. She'd send it off to my grandfather (overseas during Korean War) so he could see how she'd grown. So here's Brennan's year in review:

Easter

Well, April seems to be a little slow, so I'll just put some more pics from March up.

Here's Easter morning. That's as close as we get to getting everyone looking at the camera.

Here's the results of Easter afternoon. Aidan was running laps through the living room, dining room and kitchen when--BAM! He hit the refrigerator. You know, the big thing in the kitchen that is ALWAYS in the same spot. So, Aidan and Daddy both got shiners on Easter. Difference is, Daddy drank his Shiner (Bock)!

Bluebonnets

Back in mid-March we headed out to Washington-on-the-Brazos to see our usual bluebonnet spot.

We were a little early this year for the big bluebonnet show, but we did find patches of early bloomers.

The kids had fun anyways, hiking the trail with friends and learning about different bugs and pawprints.
