Evan finally let go and walked by himself for several steps last night! Of course, I have an appt with the pediatrician tomorrow to talk about him not walking independently yet. Murphy's Law strikes again...

School Musical
Marian was in the 5th grade mini-musical production of "Welcome to the Jungle" (based on Aesop's fable of "The Lion and the Mouse"). She was Tembo the Elephant--a speaking part! She did a fabuolous job with her lines--we are so proud!
Wolf Scout
Aidan was promoted from Tiger to Wolf last week. He's already reading up on the handbook for next year!

Drought
Most of Texas is in a drought, and we are no exception. Here is our part of the lake:
I've never seen these areas not have water in them. They were, in fact, designed for flood control for the neighborhood!
End of the Season
Aidan recently played his final soccer game of the season, and says he'd like to play again in the fall! He continued to be aggressive on the field, and was always chasing down the ball, not afraid to get in the scrum for his chance to kick the ball. Not at all what I had expected him to be like out there. Woo-hoo!
School nights
Aidan had his open house and awards ceremony recently. He got the 'number cruncher' award for being so good at math! I don't have a pic of that yet. Must be on the other camera...New Trick
Evan likes to climb onto the side tables in the living room and then decide that he doesn't know how to get down. So he just sits there until someone comes to rescue him.
