We love Wii

Brennan tries his hardest to play along with everyone on the Wii. He knows how to put the remote controls together (but hasn't mastered taking them apart). He gets really excited by the Indiana Jones music (just ignore the fact that he's trying to wrap the cord around his neck).

Tooth-less

Aidan lost both bottom teeth within two hours of each other Monday night!!

The tooth fairy lost her wand and had to come back on Tuesday night to pick up the teeth which was a good thing since Aidan fell asleep Monday night before putting his teeth under his pillow (he's got a bad cold).

Marian

We had just gotten an inkling that Marian was having trouble seeing at a distance, when a paper came home from school saying that she'd failed 2 eye tests. So today she got her first (and second) pair of glasses! She's been asking for them for years, so hopefully she continues to like them!

Aidan

Aidan's two bottom front teeth are loose!

Showing off his new robe from Christmas. He is really starting to get into trains like Aidan did.

A day at gymnastics

He's just recently figured out how to hang on the bar, so now it's his favorite thing.

"Mine!"

Brennan's new favorite word is "mine!"

And he really knows what it means.

He twists away from you with whatever it is he is claiming.

And the item is usually not his.

Ringing in the New Year

We had our Christmas with Grammy, Gramps, Uncle Ben and Aunt Tarisa on New Year's Eve this year. Presents galore!

When Brennan was unwrapping the Inchworm, just the head was sticking out, and Aidan calls out, "What!?! A turtle!?!" Poor deprived Aidan had never seen an Inchworm before! How old is this toy anyway? I know they were around when I was little.

Then we did fireworks out in the street. We don't wait for midnight!

Brennan did not the fireworks again, but at least he didn't cry about it like he did on July 4th.


Aidan likes the fireworks and poppers, but he REALLY doesn't like the sparklers. He also gets very worried about Thomas when he's lighting the fireworks, telling him to run, even before Thomas has had a chance to light them. Marian likes it all of course!
