Kum-ba-ya

Here is our adventure in Girl Scout camping. I took some disposable cameras instead of my digital one, so the quality isn't so good, and it's amazing how many times my finger ended up in the picture!
Ready to go!

We weren't exactly roughing it. We got into the treehouse unit, so they were more like cabins instead of tents. They had a ceiling fan (don't want to think about how dirty that was), a light, and real toilets, but still the same hard cots as the rest of camp.

Learning a jig after s'mores on Friday night.

Their first activity was orienteering (using a compass). Some of them were actually getting the hang of it!
Making butterflies to send to the Holocaust Museum
Our hike took us to the Fishing Village
Marian did really well at archery. She hit the target twice!

Marian was so excited to go out in the canoe! They did great going around the lake.
