Baptism

Evan was baptized on Jan 16th. He didn't seem to mind it a bit! Fr. Barker was nice enough to warm up the water for him, so that probably helped.

Here he is wearing the Schmid family baptismal gown made by my great-grandmother for my great-Uncle Joe in 1914. Evan is in the 4th generation who have worn it. Marian and Aidan were a bit taken aback that he was wearing a dress!

We were very fortunate to have some of Thomas' family come out for the event. His godparents are Thomas' brother and sister-in-law, Keven and Maryanne.
